Climate

Ireland has a temperate mild climate. Summers are warm and May to mid -September is generally the warmest and driest time of year. Temperatures range from 59F/15C to 68F/20C. During winter temperatures rarely fall below freezing averaging about 45F/7C. Days in winter are short as the sun sets at around 4.30pm
Regardless of the time of year you come it is advisable to bring a light raincoat or windbreaker and a sweater. In Winter a warm jacket and wool sweater is recommended.
