Junior Summer Programmes

Our summer programme at Loreto Abbey Dalkey offers a winning combination of language tuition with an exciting social and cultural programme. We provide quality teaching, a friendly international environment and a varied social programme with a wide range of sports and fun activities to choose from. Students are accommodated in our carefully chosen Host Families and are kept busy from breakfast to bedtime.

At LLI we believe in making learning English fun. Our dedicated team of highly qualified teachers and fulltime leisure coordinators have devised an all inclusive programme which motivates students to speak English inside and outside the classroom. Lessons take place in the morning followed by a wide selection of sports, leisure and cultural activities – including tennis, basketball, soccer, table quiz, disco and Irish dancing.

Location: Dalkey village is a charming medieval town with an award-winning Heritage Centre including a fifteenth century medieval Tower House, a tenth century church and a modern exhibition area with a vibrant art gallery and writers’ museum. Home to rock stars, film directors and artists, Dalkey has always attracted visitors from far and wide. James Joyce set chapter two of Ulysses in Dalkey; international film director NeilJordan and recording artists Enya and Bono of U2 all live within walking distance of the village.
