Non-Native Teacher training

At LLI we offer customised programmes for non-native teachers of English in all aspects of teaching methodology and practice. One or two week intensive options are designed as refresher courses and are generally offered to closed groups of teachers.

The programmes include:

• Lectures
• Visits to schools
• Resourcing
• CALL

Also included is an optional social and cultural programme, which can be targeted at specific interests such as Anglo - Irish literature or Irish history.

LL teacher trainers are highly experienced and regularly deliver workshops abroad and present research papers at international academic conferences. Emphasis is placed on examining new strategies and motivating students in the classroom.

LLI also has experience in running EU funded programmes for teachers and can assist a group in this area.
